Specific objectives:

The project aims to innovate vocational education and training (VET) in Restorative Neurology (RN) for health professionals and VET trainers. It emphasizes supporting trainers and staff, ensuring equal access to training within the European Qualification Framework, and spreading innovative teaching methods. The project covers topics like innovative VET curriculum, certification processes, and the use of ICT and new technologies in healthcare. A new professional role will be developed, encompassing skills in remote communication, pilot training in RN, wearable technology for rehabilitation, and healthcare digitization.

Key results include establishing a common European VET system for new skills and qualifications in RN, developing tools for customized VET experiences, and creating innovative content and tools for remote training. The project will revise and translate RISE project materials, develop new protocols for medical technology evaluation, and construct a web platform for data sharing and project dissemination.

Target groups:

  • socio-health professionals (especially those working with spinal cord injuries),
  • VET institutes,
  • the University of Padua,
  • medical and ICT industry.

The impact will be significant, offering free high-quality VET materials, advancing research in RN and wearable technology, innovating healthcare for patients with spinal cord injuries and motor disorders, and creating new tools for modernizing VET learning.

Additionally, the project expects to influence future proposals under programs like ERASMUS+ and Horizon Europe.
