Zemanta is focused on development of advanced knowledge technologies and the creation of applications which are connected in some way with automatic content management. The company’s mission is to assist major content providers in more efficient and comprehensive delivery of content on the Web. One example of their solutions is Open Trench RTV Slovenija, where you can browse through Televizija Slovenija’s broadcast content in heretofore unknown manners. Open Trench has received several international recognitions, including an award for best project based on open code at the Ibloc 07 conference and the Europix Top Talent Award for best project in the Content Tools category. It also made the finals of the Prix Europa media competition and the Slovenian Innovation Forum in January 2008. In September 2007 Zemanta won the Seedcamp competition, held in London by a group of the largest European risk capital funds. With their sponsorship the company is developing global Web services designed for the widest possible audience. The service will allow anyone to easily enrich their content with automatic recommendations while writing.
