Opis

EBA d.o.o. Ljubljana (Electronic Business Agency) was founded in order to establish an infrastructure for fast, safe, simple and affordable business document exchange between companies. This makes electronic commerce possible, where in the case of document exchange the documents must remain valid before courts and other bodies, institutions, etc. such that additional proof with paper documents is not required. An expensive solution for the electronic exchange of legally binding documents would be accessible only to a few companies, and therefore electronic document exchange would be inefficient. Therefore it was decided to establish an electronic commerce agency through which all companies could exchange documents electronically on an equal footing regardless of their size. The solution enables integration with all business information systems, which, in addition to providing electronic exchange of legally binding documents, eliminates the need for manual entry of business documents (e.g. invoices) into information systems. In addition to electronic document exchange, the solution also enables the scanning of paper documents, automated mailroom and a log of received and sent mail, workflow support, centralised document monitoring and fully electronic management of all company business documents. The company’s business model is based on technical solutions which conform to the following requirements: E-business directive of the EU MoReq – the international standard for document management Electronic Signature Act Protection of Documents and Archives and Archival Institutions Act Criteria of the Tax Administration of the Republic of Slovenia Accounting standards Sarbanes-Oxley Act The company offers its services through the following products: EBA/EBA+ system The EBA/EBA+ system is a comprehensive document system which includes workflow support, document management, electronic mailroom with automated electronic mailroom and list of received and sent mail, scanning module and optional use of OCR scanning and document recognition technology and the possibility of exchanging legally binding electronic documents with business partners and natural persons. EBA system for natural persons This is a Web solution in development which will allow residents and households to receive electronic documents, mainly e-bills, from various service providers. The advantage of the solution for residents and households is the automatic conversion of bills into payment orders, which will make it possible to pay via the e-bank where the resident holds an account.
