Symposium on circular economy in construction

Symposium on circular economy in construction

Date: 01. 10. 2024 at 09:00 - 02. 10. 2024 at 18:00

On October 1 and 2, 2024, Nova Gorica and Gorizia, two historically connected cities on the Slovenian-Italian border, will host a unique international symposium dedicated to one of the most topical issues - the circular economy in construction. This event, organised as part of the DECORATOR project, will bring together high-level experts from various fields - from technology and research to business and politics - to present innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

The symposium will provide a detailed insight into how the circular economy can transform the construction sector - from reducing waste to extending the life of materials and reducing environmental impact. Particular attention will be paid to interesting practical examples, such as the flexible reuse of existing buildings, which reduces the need for new construction.

We invite you to participate in the symposium, which will bring together key players from research, technology, business and politics for a horizontal exchange of knowledge. The discussion will be oriented towards the identification of "circular gaps" that serve to develop new possible configurations of business models that are in line with the DECORATOR principles. The Critical Thinking Symposium will be an exceptional opportunity for representatives from technology, business and politics to tackle existing challenges together with a cradle to cradle (C2C) sustainability mindset.

The event will take place in the inspiring surroundings of two cities preparing for the title of European Capital of Culture 2025, giving a special touch to creativity, cultural exchange and sustainable urban development.

Don't miss the opportunity to take part in an event that will shape the future of construction. Registration is mandatory and places are limited, so hurry up and secure your participation.
